Eric Grodsky, Beth Vaade

MEP co-director and professor, UW−Madison; MEP co-director and executive director of research & innovation, MMSD

Eric Grodsky, Beth Vaade

In this session, Beth Vaade (MMSD) and Eric Grodsky (UW−Madison) will talk about how and why research practice partnerships (RPPs) work. They will cover a bit of the general landscape of RPPs and then go into greater depth about their own RPP, the Madison Education Partnership, as an example. Many of you know MEP, and some of you have worked or are working with MEP for your apprenticeships. This session will give you a bit more context about the relationships in MEP and an opportunity to ask them questions about opportunities in MEP and in RPPs more generally, as well as to consider the benefits and costs of working in RPPs at different phases of your research career.

Please register in advance if you wish to attend the presentation via Zoom. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
