The 2021 UW-Madison Education Research virtual poster fair will begin with a kickoff event on Monday, April 26 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Central Time. Poster presenters, Principal Investigators, faculty advisors, students, and staff are encouraged to attend. Register online.

The Keynote address:

The Freedom of Failure: Embracing Failing to Become Your Strongest Self: JK Rowling was nearly destitute before she wrote Harry Potter. Oprah Winfrey and Walt Disney were fired from their media positions before experiencing success that has touched all of us. What about us ordinary mortals? In this session, we’ll explore the concept of failure and what failure has to teach us. How do we transcend traditional responses to failure, and learn instead to embrace our darkest moments to become a stronger version of who we’re capable of being?

will be presented by Sarah Carroll, HR Competency Program Manager, UW-Madison Office of Human Resources and teri engelke, Assistant Dean for Human Resources in the UW-Madison School of Education.

From 10:30-11:00 presentations of selected posters will be featured.

The 2021 UW-Madison Education Research virtual poster fair is co-sponsored by Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning and the Wisconsin Center for Education Research.
