Katie Schultz

WIDA Assessment Specialist

Katie Schultz is an assessment content specialist with the WIDA Assessment team. She supports enhancements to the WIDA MODEL and ACCESS for ELLs assessments, including the refinement of scoring and administration materials, quality-control processes, and work with internal stakeholders. Katie has a B.A. in Psychology from Swarthmore College where she minored in Spanish and French, and an r.M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam. Previously, she worked as an Assessment Research & Design researcher for the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB), where she supported assessment design as a part of the curriculum development process. Prior to joining WIDA, Katie lived and worked in The Netherlands for eight years.
