Bethany Guse
MLRC Communications and Outreach Coordinator

Bethany manages the MLRC School Network membership program and serves as the point of contact for schools. Her roles encompass external communications, event organization, and project management. Prior to her work at the UW—Madison, Bethany graduated from St. Olaf College with a bachelor’s degree in Russian and German, and taught English as an additional language in Austria. She began working at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research in 2019 and has provided customer service to educators in a variety of contexts around the world. Passionate about language education, she continues volunteering to support adult second language acquisition. Bethany believes that by maintaining and strengthening existing partnerships with educators and colleagues around the world, the MLRC can have a broader impact on the education of multilingual learners.
