A free webinar for faculty, staff scientists, and administrators who mentor students and postdoctoral fellows in the biomedical, behavioral, and social sciences. A variety of topics will be covered with a specific focus on communication and shared problem solving to help trainees deal with the inevitable setbacks experienced in high-knowledge environments.

Registration is required here before each of five sessions, to be held noon–2:15 p.m. on Nov. 9 and Dec. 14 of 2022 and Jan. 11, Feb. 8, and March 8 of 2023. Each unit will consist of a 75-minute lecture and one hour of facilitated peer discussion. Participation in the entire series is recommended but not required. Sponsored by the National Institutes of Health.

WCER Director Courtney Bell did this training last year and “highly recommend(s)” it.
