Learning About Value Added

April 19, 2010

WCER's Value Added Research Center (VARC) offers tutorials to help get you up to speed in value-added assessment. The analogy of the two gardeners (slide presentation) is a good place to start. Also very good are ‘An introduction to Attainment and Growth’ and ‘The Equitable Nature of Growth Measures.’ Additional resources include value-added presentations, quadrant analysis, videos, and a toolkit. View the tutorials here.
